The first quarter of 2019 has been a busy one for the teams at Derwent. As part of our commitment to service excellence across all parts of our business we have delivered or attended a range of training sessions to ensure our staff are fully able to deliver a first class customer experience whatever their role.
It starts at the top
All our directors, managers and supervisors have recently undertaken Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) training – this helps drive, from the top, the vital important of safety and health not only to our business but to our clients as well.
Cleaning goals
BICs training has taken place for cleaning colleagues, with plans of 8 of them to be trained to assessor level with a longer term goal of becoming a centre for BICSc training. Our investment in this service area recognises that a clean environment is essential to all our customers supporting a sense of well-being for client’s staff, visitors or residents so they have a positive perception of their business.
Let’s get accredited
To further support our clients we are progressing with adding another ISO accreditation to our portfolio, ISO 50001 – Energy Management, designed to help organisations improve energy management through making better use of its energy-intensive assets, helping reduce environmental impacts and drive down costs.
Our accreditations offer important reassurances to clients and shows that we are committed to operating and delivering our facilities management services to the highest standards.
